Ugly Packet Tracer fonts/buttons and solution

Cisco package tracer has its own QT libraries thats because its cross-platform software and thats why we got ugly fonts in linux. To solve this we need to install following packages:

for debian based systems: (debian, ubuntu, mint)

sudo ap-get install libqtwebkit2.2-cil libqt4-script libqt4-qt3support libqt4-sql

for redhat based systems: (fedora, redhat, centos)

sudo yum install libqtwebkit2.2-cil libqt4-script libqt4-qt3support libqt4-sql

After installing all required packages we need to comment out following line:

# export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$PTDIR/lib  which is located here:  /usr/local/PacketTracer5/packettracer

If you have any trouble again you might also need to install  libqt4-dev package.

apt-get install libqt4-dev

The result should look like this:
